On Demand Pickup Request
MLS Delivery on Demand Libraries can request all next day “On-Demand” pickups by filling out the On-Demand Pickup Request form.

To use this form, you need a login and password issued by MLS. Please contact Randy Patka at patkar@mls.lib.il.us or (630) 734-5140 if you need assistance with your login or password.

When an on-demand member has an item for pickup by the delivery driver, this form must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. for pickup the next business day. When an item for an on-demand library arrives at MLS, the driver will automatically deliver it on the next business day.

About MLS Delivery

The MLS delivery trucks hit the road at 4 a.m. every working day. We drive nearly 100,000 miles to deliver over 3 million items to member libraries every year.

As stated in the Standards of Illinois Multitype Library Systems, “Delivery services facilitate the physical transfer of library materials and information among ILLINET members within the System.”
