About MLS Consulting
MLS Consultants provide support and answer questions about all facets of librarianship and library work. We can help library staff solve a difficult problem, train new trustees or act as a liaison or advocate. And we provide a central online database to advertise or find library jobs.

Grants & Awards
MLS Consultants are avaliable to assist members with applying for grants. The following grants are supported by the Illinois State Library, and are just some of the grants avaliable for MLS libraires. The MLS newsletter MLS E-nnnounce also has a section for grants and awards.
Legal Opinions
Legal opinions are provided to MLS by the law firm of Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins, Ltd. This firm concentrates in the representation of local libraries, library districts and library systems, as well as other local governmental units.
